The staff and students of Kindergarten at PSNLO celebrated Independence Day which began with a virtual flag hoisting followed by the class teacher’s speech explaining the importance and significance of the day. Both the students and the teachers came dressed in tricolor and heightened the aura of patriotism in the classrooms.
One student from each grade danced to the tune of a patriotic song and another student sang a patriotic song. A well planned presentation with pictures of freedom fighters and great leaders who helped the country gain freedom was shared with the students. A few facts about the national symbol were also discussed. The session ended as the students made the Indian flag using grains and rice.
